Description

The Hybrid Willow Tree is a fast growing tree that is great to provide privacy. Line them up in a row to create a nice green "fence" instead of your wood or chain fence. They are low maintenance. Also they are great for wind breaker or noise barrier. In the fall the leaves turn yellow adding some color to your landscape!

The Hybrid Willow Tree grows 60 - 70 feet high and 50 - 60 feet wide. This species is rather disease resistant and has very few insect problems that affect the overall growth habit. If water is provided regularly during the first year after planting, the root system will support the tree after the planting year unless drought conditions occur.

Great company

The plants were packaged wonderfully and arrived within 7 days. The roots were packed well wrapped in newspaper with some gel beads, then wrapped tightly with shrink wrap twice! I will definitely purchase from this company again! Easy to plant, easy directions, 2 of the 3 trees are doing GREAT. I'm just thinking that we planted too early. We had a night of Friday frost three nights after we planted. So the one seems to be slow, but I can't tell yet if it will make it. I'm wondering about the life span of these trees since they are a hybrid? I'll post more at the end if the season. They say they should grow 10-12' in one season. I'm EXCITED about some shade next year!
