The green foliage shows through July and then dies off - but in August - There's a flowering stalk waiting for you one morning. They literally appear overnight.
As with many bulbs, fall planting is best. This lily is hardy zones 5-10 only. Zones 5 and 6 should be mulched for winter protection. The mature height of this can range from 18-24 inches. These bulbs can be divided in the summer. We recommend planting in full sun at a spacing of at least 6 inches and at a depth of 5-6 inches.
