Chinkapin Oak features simple, oblong leaves that are dark yellowish green, coarsely-toothed, and about 4-6.5” in length. They color beautifully in the fall, from yellow to orange-brown to brown. Its acorns, approximately 1” and rounded, mature in the first year.
