Description

One of the most popular perennial for shady areas is hosta!  Hosta ‘Ann Kulpa’ is a hybrid of Hosta ‘Pin Stripe Sister’.  The large, thick, lightly cupped, heart shaped leaves have narrow yellow centers that brighten to white later in the season.  Bell-shaped, pale lavender flowers appear mid-summer above the mounding foliage.  This hosta is a slow grower but you will not be disappointed.  Use for borders, back ground, mass planting, containers or cut flowers/foliage.  A mature plant will produce neat mounds of 20” in height with a spread of 24”.  Easy to grow and maintain, Ann Kulpa Hosta grows best in partial shade to full shade in rich moist, but well-drained soil.  Hardiness Zones: 2-9
