The Catalpa Tree belongs to the Bignonia family, a group of mostly tropical plants. Catalpas have very large leaves and fruits which resemble slender hanging pods. The leaves can be anywhere from 6”-12” long and 3”-8” wide. The average Catalpa averages between 40 and 60 feet. The petiole will be 4”-6” long. The fall color of the leaves will be yellow or brown, but they often fall off before they turn colors.
The Northern Catalpa has beautiful white flowers with some yellow and purple on the inside. The flowers will bloom from May to June. The blooms are around 2 inches long and wide.

They were much taller than I thought (about 3ft above ground tree). I planted them right away in fresh top soil, kept them watered and trimmed a few leaves that seemed droopy. They are doing fantastic! You definitely can’t beat the price!Verified Buyer Recommended1 Total Reviews
