Product Description
The Tumbleweed Poo Converter, essentially a worm factory for pet waste, consists of two sturdy, nesting boxes with a hinged lid. The worms eat and breed in the top box where their food is placed. This box has a perforated base, so any liquid waste will drain through into the bottom box. Solid waste, called castings, remains in the top box. The castings make an excellent soil conditioner and can be harvested as required.
The bottom box or "catcher box" collects all the valuable liquid waste which is a byproduct of the worms. Diluting this with equal parts water makes an organic fertilizer solution that can you can use in your garden. There is a drain hole so that this can be poured off and used as required.
Just drop your pet's waste into the top bin. Let the worms and nature take care of the rest. The Pet Poo Converter will handle, on average, the droppings of two medium size dogs. Depending upon the size of the dog, it will take anything from 3 months to 2 years to fill the top box with worm castings.
Technical Specifications
