The Hydrofarm Heat Mat Thermostat is an electronic-temperature-control device that allows growers to select and maintain optimum rooting temperatures for faster seedling or cutting growth. You do not have to have this to use the seedling heat mats, but, if you want more control over your heat mats, then this will do the trick. The Hydrofarm Heat Mat Thermostat is compatible with all Hydrofarm Seedling Heat Mats and many other heat mats as well. By maintaining ideal temperatures in the rooting area, you can obtain better rooting and faster growth.

• Automatic safety shutoff if the probe's temperature reaches 110° Fahrenheit
• Adjustable temperature range between 68° - 95° Fahrenheit or 20° - 35° Centigrade with accuracy to +/-2° Fahrenheit
• Easy plug-in operation
• Features remote temperature sensing probe and illuminated indicator light
• Can be used with up to 500 watts of heating devices when used with a power strip
